Greg Wilson enters his fourth school year as the Saint Michael's Athletics strength & conditioning coach in 2025-26. Wilson works in concert with the Sports Medicine staff while developing, implementing and overseeing comprehensive strength & conditioning programs for the College's 22 varsity sports and more than 450 varsity student-athletes.

Wilson came to Saint Michael's after spending the 2021-22 school year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., where he worked closely with seven of the Generals' programs. During the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years, Wilson worked at his alma mater, the University of Lynchburg (Va.), as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach and assistant track & field coach. He oversaw the strength and conditioning of eight teams at Lynchburg, including training throwers in the men's and women's track & field programs.

During the three years immediately prior to his arrival at Saint Michael's, Wilson worked with eight teams that won Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) postseason championships, as well as nearly a dozen student-athletes who claimed All-America and major league awards. Wilson, who is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, National Sports Performance Association and United States Weightlifting Federation, aided teams that qualified for three NCAA Division III Tournaments in that time.

On the college level, Wilson gained additional experience working with nearly a dozen squads as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Newberry (S.C.) College in spring 2019 after completing a strength and conditioning internship with the University of South Carolina football team the prior fall. A native of Sagamore Beach, Mass., Wilson was previously a strength and conditioning coach at TRG Performance Training in Hanover, Mass., with Cape Cod Rehab in Mashpee, Mass., and for Champion Physical Therapy and Performance in Waltham, Mass.

A 2014 graduate of Lynchburg with a degree in exercise physiology, Wilson was a 10-time ODAC champion thrower as a member of the men's track & field program, which won indoor and outdoor league titles all four of his seasons. Wilson captured the discus and shot put at each of his final three outdoor ODAC Championships, and won indoor shot put and weight throw crowns as a senior, setting a since-broken ODAC Championship record in the latter. He added 2013 and 2014 outdoor hammer titles. Wilson returned to Lynchburg to complete his master's degree in public health in 2020.
