After collecting 128 kills and 39 blocks as a first-year at Emmanuel College in Boston, Syverson totaled 276 kills and 110 blocks in 56 matches from the middle during three years as a Purple Knight. In addition to earning the 2023 Roger F. She claimed NE10 Academic Honor Roll nods every semester at Saint Michael's and was lauded with three Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Awards.

Syverson graduated with a 4.0 grade-point average, completing degrees in English and Spanish in December 2023 while minoring in American studies. Syverson, who earned departmental honors in English and Spanish, holds membership in the Chi Alpha Sigma (college athlete) and Phi Beta Kappa (liberal arts & sciences) honor societies and was a Spanish tutor and a student journalist in the Office of Marketing and Communications.
