Box Score COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team lost a 52-51 decision to The College of Saint Rose on Saturday at the Ross Sports Center. The Northeast-10 Conference squads met for a non-league game, and square off again on Jan. 11 in Colchester for their NE10 contest.

- Townes hit a three-pointer 1:07 into the contest before Ladas netted seven points and MacDonough buried two triples in a 13-0 response.

- MacDonough's lay-in at 1:38 made it 28-11, and the hosts led by 13 at halftime.
- Brophy's three-pointer still had Saint Michael's up 35-23 at 4:59 of the third period, but Saint Rose scored the next nine points to create a one-possession game.
- The Purple Knights twice went back ahead by six points before Sanchez's three at 6:55 of the fourth brought the visitors within 40-39.
- Anderson responded with a three, and junior Kelly Laggis' (Fairfield, Vt./BFA-Saint Albans) lay-up pushed the lead to 46-41 at 3:40. Saint Michael's still led by five and possessed before a turnover led to a quick Sanchez bucket, kicking off a 7-0 run capped by Townes with a free throw at 1:03.
- Two free throws from MacDonough tied the game (48-48) at 55.5 seconds, and Smith buried two freebies at 38.2 ticks before Ladas took Brophy's feed for the tying hoop at 25.1 seconds.
- After a Golden Knight miss, Anderson was fouled and hit a free throw at 8.7 seconds, giving Saint Michael's the 51-50 edge. However, Fedullo put in the go-ahead lay-up at 3.6 ticks, and Kapral rebounded a teammate's miss but couldn't put back a second try before the buzzer.
