Box Score PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team erased a 21-point deficit to lead regionally-ranked Pace University late in an eventual 69-65 loss on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play in the Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center. The Setters, who lead the NE10 Southwest Division, were third in this week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll.

THE ACTION
- MacDonough connected on the game's opening bucket, a jumper at 8:38 of the first quarter, before the next 15 points came from Setters. Ladas' lay-in at the one-minute mark broke the drought before Pace went up by as many as 21 points in the second quarter, including leading 29-8 with 4:16 before halftime.
- Thanks to a trio of MacDonough three-pointers, including two in the final 39 seconds of the period, Saint Michael's was down 35-23 at the intermission.
- Ladas scored eight points early in the third quarter to cap a 20-4 run, bringing her squad within 35-33 on a three-pointer at 7:03.
- Pace pushed its lead back to 11 on senior Lauren Hackett's free throw at 2:14 (51-40), but the Purple Knights took their first lead since 2-0, at 56-55, when sophomore Makayla Blake (Colonie, N.Y./Colonie Central) dropped home a lay-up at 6:04 of the fourth period, concluding a 16-4 run.
- However, Schetter converted a pair of three-point plays 29 seconds apart to kick-start a 12-0 run.
- Down 11 with a little more than two minutes left, Saint Michael's utilized a technical foul to put together a four-point possession, with Anderson and MacDonough splitting the scoring, and Brophy later netted three points in the final minute to make it 69-65, but the visitors turned the ball over on their final possession.
