SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - Junior Marshall Murphy (Little Canada, Minn./Northern Colorado Eagles) made 55 saves to backstop the Saint Michael's College men's ice hockey team to a 1-1 draw with Saint Anselm College on Friday evening at Cairns Arena during the opener of a two-game Northeast-10 Conference series.

THE ACTION
- Murphy made 18 first-period saves to help keep the teams scoreless.
- The Purple Knights took the lead around the midway mark of the second stanza, with Taylor finding Routh, whose pass to the slot was hammered home by Allain with 8:32 gone.
- Saint Anselm drew even in the third frame, as first-year Garrett Alberti passed from the end boards toward the left post for Cordeiro, who tallied at 7:25.
- The Hawks went on a power play with 1:37 to go in overtime, but Murphy made a pair of stops before Taylor blocked four shots - all in the final minute, including one that ricocheted into neutral ice to salt away the final seconds - with Murphy denying another shot in between.
