SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's ice hockey team capped a weekend series against Saint Anselm College with a 3-2 loss during Northeast-10 Conference play on Saturday in Cairns Arena.

  • Only 19 seconds into the third period, Hayes picked off a pass inside the Saint Michael's zone, carried into the left circle and beat Murphy to the blocker side.
  • At 7:14, Hayes sent home a one-timer from the right circle during a power play to put the visitors back in front.
  • The Purple Knights went on a power play at 18:37 while looking to draw even and put five shots on net that Howard was credited with stopping, including a pair of goals that were waved off during the final minute.
