  • Saint Anselm had a pair of good chances later in the period, but Tulchinsky rung a backhanded shot off of the post during a power play at 15:30 before junior Maddy McCaffery hit the crossbar with 16:20 gone in 4-on-4 action.
  • An eventful second period saw each team score twice. Tulchinsky worked a give-and-go with Golini to score from the slot on a power play at 1:38, but Kennard's wrister went blocker side on Kelley for the equalizer at 3:54.
  • Just 15 seconds later, Golini batted home a loose puck to reestablish the lead. However, Leys again knotted the score with 12:50 gone, pushing home a rebound of Langbacka's initial shot for a power-play goal.
  • Tulchinsky was sent 1-on-1 against a Purple Knight defender with five minutes remaining in regulation before having her go-ahead bid from the slot denied by Mudrak.
  • The visitors took the lead with 1:55 remaining, as Ressler scored from the slot off of Golini's entry pass. With just one second left, Golini banked the puck off of a Saint Michael's defender for an insurance tally.
