COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team fell against regionally-ranked Stonehill College, 72-51, on Wednesday during Northeast-10 Conference action in Merkert Gymnasium. The Skyhawks were ninth in this week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll.

  • Laggis had a pair of baskets while Anderson netted one and handed out a pair of assists in a 9-2 jaunt that brought Saint Michael's within 20-17 on Laggis' bucket at 5:54 of the second period.

  • Brophy canned a pair of threes 1:08 apart early in the third quarter to keep the Purple Knights within 35-26 at 7:14.
