MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team lost to regionally-ranked Saint Anselm College, 71-38, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference action in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. The Hawks were 10th in last week's NCAA East Region poll.

• Steinman scored the game's first seven points, and 15 of her team's 17 in the opening quarter. The Hawks led 14-4 on her three-pointer at 4:19.
• MacDonough knocked down a jumper and Anderson made two free throws, bringing Saint Michael's within six at 1:54, and the visitors trailed 19-10 following Slaven's jumper at 6:55 of the second period.
• Jankovic put home consecutive hoops 21 seconds apart to spark an 11-2 run that bridged halftime, and Saint Anselm led 30-12 on Turco's jumper at 8:54 of the third quarter. The visitors never again trailed by fewer than 15 points.
