Box Score COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team capped its regular season with a 69-50 loss to 22nd-ranked Southern New Hampshire University on Tuesday during Northeast-10 Conference play in the Ross Sports Center. The Penmen, whose national ranking is according to D2SIDA, is also first in the NCAA East Region poll.
As the No. 7 seed from the NE10 Northeast Division, the Purple Knights head to Pace University, the No. 2 Southwest seed, on Friday for an NE10 Championship first-round game at 7 p.m.

THE ACTION
- The teams played through seven first-quarter ties, as neither led by more than three points, with Saint Michael's holding an 18-16 edge until Timberlake's tying lay-up just before the buzzer.
- That hoop sparked a 6-0 run that carried into the second period, but the Purple Knights rallied within 25-24 by 2:53 on Blake's lay-up.
- The next seven points came from the Penmen, who led 32-28 at halftime after Kapral converted a jumper with 10 seconds to go.
- Southern New Hampshire started the third quarter with an 11-0 spurt, as Ziliak scored the first four points, Roche converted a three-point play, and Knight netted the final four points.
