ALBANY, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College men's basketball team used a 15-0 second-half run to rally past The College of Saint Rose for a 68-57 Northeast-10 Conference win on Tuesday evening in Nolan Gymnasium.

  • McGettigan scored the game's first 13 points by 14:05 of the first half before Crews had five points in a 10-0 response.
  • Saint Rose went back up 22-14 on sophomore Hagen Foley's two free throws with 5:33 left.
  • The Purple Knights held the hosts to only one basket - a McGettigan jumper at 19 seconds - over the final 7:24, and Duniver's lay-in just before the buzzer had the visitors down 26-23 at intermission.
  • Brzezinski buried a tying three-pointer 42 seconds into the second half, and Duniver's three-point play at 18:44 gave Saint Michael's its first lead, 29-26.
  • Down 45-44 with 9:28 to go, the Purple and Gold forged a 15-0 run to take control, as Yepdo's jumper at 3:51 provided Saint Michael's a 59-45 lead. Kabimba and Reid both had four points in the run. The visitors led by as many as 17 points down the stretch.
