COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's basketball team lost to Southern New Hampshire University, 64-56, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play in the Ross Sports Center. The Purple Knights received a vote toward this week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll.

THE ACTION
- Kabimba netted the game's first two buckets before Southern New Hampshire responded with a 14-2 run, with Guillory scoring six points in that time, and the visitors led by eight (14-6) at 13:21 of the opening half.
- Five straight Duniver points sparked a 10-2 response, which featured three Yepdo free throws and a tying dunk by Brown. The teams were deadlocked at 16 with 9:27 left.
- Okwuosa scored the next five points, and the Penmen led 26-18 by 7:29.
- Another Brown dunk and four points from Milojevic keyed a late 8-0 run that forced a 29-all tie with 31 seconds left, but Guillory's free throw at 15 seconds gave the visitors a 30-29 halftime lead.
- Back-to-back three-pointers from Brown and Crews pushed Saint Michael's into a 35-32 advantage by 16:12 of the second half, and five straight Crews points later broke another tie and made it 40-35 at 13:51.
- Between 12:47 and 6:07, neither team led by more than two points, as five ties occurred. Kamba's jumper with 6:06 left had Southern New Hampshire up 52-48, but Button hit a three 29 seconds later.
- After graduate student Ryan Layman's dunk-and-one gave the Penmen a 58-53 lead with 2:30 left, a Saint Michael's offensive foul led to Layman following with a basket that pushed the lead to seven at 1:48.
