THE ACTION

  • Junior Elani Gikas (Peabody, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) crossed from the right sideline into the box during the 44th minute that sophomore Charlotte Morey (Chelmsford, Mass./Lowell Catholic) played off one hop before drilling a shot toward the left side, but Lebreton made a sterling diving save of the bid.
  • Senior Kara Keiper sent a point-blank shot from the left side of the box in the 51st minute that Cook corralled as the Chargers looked to tie, and Cook dove to deny another Keiper attempt in the 70th minute.
