GAME FACTS

  • O'Connor pushed her career save total to 301, passing Nancy Raymond '82 (299) for fifth in program history.
  • Shapiro registered her fifth defensive save in the last seven games, accounting for her entire 2023 total. That figure is the highest by a Purple Knight since Claire Kondrotas '19 had six in 2018.
THE ACTION
  • O'Connor denied senior Silver Clukey's shot from the edge of the circle on the third minute, but Zavras sent the rebound home into the lower left.
  • O'Connor stopped a pair of shots during a 23rd-minute corner sequence before Shapiro cleared the third bid in the series, off the stick of Phillips, off the line.
  • In the 38th minute, junior Chloe Sapienza (Georgetown, Mass./Georgetown) drove the end line before slipping a pass out front, where a prone Noorlag made a stick save of Loughlin's point-blank shot while on the ground.
  • Hazley doubled the Raven lead at 40:20, beating the Purple Knight defense to Witkamp's lead pass before slipping a shot into the lower left corner.
  • Witkamp added a tally late in the 46th minute, turning at the left side of the circle and quickly wristing a shot inside the close post to cap a corner set.
  • Phillips' solo effort made it 4-0 in the 48th minute, but Loughlin countered just 55 seconds later, scoring from the edge of the circle after sophomore Ashley Boucher's (Colchester, Vt./Rice Memorial) pass.
  • Loughlin scored again at 50:48, her second marker in a matter of 2:07, stealing a back pass before beating Noorlag to her stick side during an odd-woman rush.
