COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's swimming & diving sophomore
Rafael Kowal (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh/Alfred State) set a school record in the 400-yard individual medley and
Eileen Hall became the winningest head coach in the women's program's history on Saturday with a sweep of Keene State College in the Ross Sports Center. The men bested the Owls, 179-52, while the women earned a 163.5-79.5 victory. Hall claimed her 58th win guiding the women, breaking a tie with
Dave Leonard, who coached from 1991 to 1998.

THE ACTION
- Englehardt, Kane and Quirbach joined sophomore Ryan McCaffrey (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/George Washington) to win the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:32.68), while Kane sided with Cuarta, sophomore Alex Meek (Essex Junction, Vt./Essex) and first-year Hunter Cook (Garden City, N.Y./Chaminade) to take the 400-yard medley relay (3:50.67).
- Kane also won the 50 free (22.51), with Cook 0.23 seconds short of the top two and senior Aaron Bouchard (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Seton Catholic Central) 0.03 ticks behind him. Englehardt won the 200 free (1:51.58) and 200-yard butterfly (2:14.01), while Quirbach took the 100 free (49.14) and 1,000 free (10:35.00).
- Kowal topped the 400 IM (4:21.31) and 200-yard backstroke (2:00.98) fields, Cuarta won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.04), and Revesz took both one-meter diving competitions, with 106.50 points in the first and 154.60 in the second.
- First-year Liam Jordan (Mendon, Mass./Wellesley) won the 500 free (5:07.73), followed by classmate Cal Baird (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs), and was second in the 400 IM. First-year Hunter Daily (Amherst, N.H./Souhegan) finished as runner-up in the 200 breast and 200 free, McCaffrey was second in the 100 free, and senior Will Granger (Andover, Mass./Andover) placed second in the 200 fly, only 0.16 seconds ahead of sophomore Thorlief Prior (Luxembourg, Luxembourg/International School of Luxembourg). Meek was 0.46 seconds out of second place in the 200 back.
- Saint Michael's also had runner-up quartets in both relays. Kowal, McCaffrey, Prior and senior Trevor Johnson (Salem, Mass./Salem) sided in the 400 medley before Bouchard, Meek, Prior and first-year JJ Kane (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII Regional) partnered in the 200 free.

THE ACTION
- Meade and Walsh swam for both victorious relays. In the 400 medley (4:16.85), they sided with Hart and Waldt before joining junior Margaret Wilk (Hardyston, N.J./Pope John XXIII Regional) and sophomore Katie Dzambo (Windermere, Fla./Bishop Moore) in the 200 free (1:46.14), winning by 0.37 seconds.
- Waldt won the 500 free (5:32.61) and Walsh the 200 free (2:03.10), with Dzambo runner-up in each. Hart took the 200 breast (2:36.27) and 1,000 free (12:09.79), and Steen claimed the 50 free (26.88) and 200 fly (2:31.10). Meade captured the 100 free (57.23), while sophomore Ashley Silveira (Seekonk, Mass./Seekonk) won the first 1M diving (130.85) before taking second in the second.
- Wilk was 200 back and 400 IM runner-up, senior Emily McLane (Morrisonville, N.Y./Peru) took second in the 100 free and 200 breast, and sophomore Riley Beaudoin (Groton, Mass./Groton-Dunstable Regional) was second in the 200 fly. McLane, senior Caroline Gust (North Andover, Mass./North Andover), junior Elaine Gillan (Rensselaer, N.Y./Rensselaer) and sophomore Livy Waranis (Narragansett, R.I./Narragansett) combined for a runner-up performance in the 400 medley relay.
