GAME FACTS

• The Purple Knights scored all three goals on the power play.
• McCarthy scored his second goal in as many days with his third-period goal tonight.

THE ACTION

• The Greyhounds scored the first goal of the night at 4:04 of the first period when Donoghue took a wrist shot in front of the net that found the upper right corner to give the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead.
• The second goal for Assumption came at 15:57 when Woernle won a faceoff directly back to Decker, who took a one-timer from the point to make the score 2-0 in favor of the Greyhounds.
• The Greyhounds' third goal of the night was almost identical to the second, when Decker won a draw back to Camron Roberts, who took a shot from the point at 8:26 of the second period to score.
• DiNapoli scored the fourth goal at 12:52 when a loose puck in front of the crease found his stick and he was able to tap in the game-winner.
• The Greyhounds scored two more goals in the beginning of the third period at 1:09 and 5:47 from Paragallo and Decker, respectively, to make the score 6-0.
• Ciancio scored the first goal for the Purple Knights at 6:52 on the power play on a wrist shot from the top of the faceoff circle.
• McCarthy scored the second consecutive Purple Knight goal at 17:20 when Allain found him unmarked in front of the crease and he was able to tap in the puck past McLarnon,
• The third Purple Knight goal came off the stick of Macdonald just 1:06 after McCarthy's goal when Ciancio sent a cross-ice pass that Macdonald took a one-timer to score the final goal of the night.
