COLCHESTER, Vt. - Senior Drew Collins (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) and sophomore Sebastian Simonson (Spruce Grove, Alberta/Spruce Grove Composite) both netted nine points to lead 14 goal scorers as the Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team dispatched the University of Bridgeport, 25-6, on Saturday at Duffy Field in the first meeting between the same-named Purple Knight squads. Saint Michael's received a vote toward this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national poll.

THE ACTION
- Collins had three goals and one assist while Simonson turned in one goal and three assists en route to helping the homestanding Purple Knights lead 7-0 by 13:22 of the second quarter.
- A 6-0 run that bridged halftime featured four goals from Collins and was capped by Rice scoring his first college goal at 8:22 of the third, making it 14-2.
- Frawley (5:18), Jenkins (5:05) and Balfour (3:54) all tallied their initial career tallies in quick succession.
- In the fourth quarter, Deutsch netted his first at 9:15, Murphy put home a second effort with 6:44 left for his initial strike, and Clark potted his first goal at 4:23 off of junior Alex Daigneault's (Colchester, Vt./Colchester) feed, with the assist going as Daigneault's first college point in his first contest.
