COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's soccer team lost to regionally-ranked Adelphi University, 3-1, Saturday afternoon during Northeast-10 Conference play at Duffy Field. The Panthers were ranked fourth in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region poll.

- Adelphi scored their first goal of the afternoon in the 26th minute as Kochanskyj was able to chip a cross from Salmon over the Saint Michael's goalie.
- The Purple Knights saw two great chances in the 31st minute, as sophomore Kayleigh Crowell (Beverly Mass./Beverly) had two shots on goal within 45 seconds of each other. Both shots were saved by Aliscio.
- Saint Michael's junior Melanie Winters (Montpelier, Vt./Montpelier/SUNY Plattsburgh) made a team save on the goal line before Mandile tapped in the Panthers' second goal on the afternoon in the 33rd minute.
- Junior Christina Cummings (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) also made a team save for the Purple Knights, this one coming in the 63rd minute to stop an Adelphi header from finding the back of the net.
- Tofteroo collected her fourth goal on the season in the 83rd minute by intercepting a back pass from the defense and slotting the ball into an open net. Â
