THE ACTION
- The two teams traded possession for the majority of the first quarter. Three combined shots were taken by the two teams.
- Loughlin scored the first goal of the night by taking a shot from the top on a penalty corner set piece from Cathcart in the 16th minute.
- Biondi tipped in the second goal on an almost identical corner set piece, as Loughlin ripped a shot that Biondi was able to deflect past the goalkeeper in the 26th minute.
- Watt made several incredible saves during the fourth quarter, including many as she came out of the cage to ensure the clearance.
- Wiersma was able to drive the end line and slot the first Penmen goal in the 56th minute. This was the last shot of the game for either team.
- Southern New Hampshire had one final penalty corner in the 57th minute, but they were unable to release a shot.
