THE ACTION
- The Ravens notched the first goal of the night at 18:35 in the first period when Caumo skated through the crease to her backhand and slotted a shot past Lavender to put Franklin Pierce up 1-0.
- The Ravens doubled their lead less than a minute later at 19:32 as first-year Lauren Maras made a pass from behind the net to Ruiz, who put the puck in the back of the cage to make it 2-0.
- Lavender made 14 saves during the second period to keep the Ravens from extending the lead, while the offense put seven shots on net.
- Mertens scored the third goal of the night for the Ravens after Caumo blocked a Purple Knight shot, gathered the puck and skated down ice before passing to Mertens for the third tally at 12:49 in the third period.
- Quinn put the Purple Knights on the board at 17:04 in the third period while on the power play by taking a shot from the top of the faceoff circle that went over the right shoulder of Hertl to make the score 3-1.
