Women's Ice Hockey Completes NEWHA Weekend Set with Loss at Franklin Pierce

WINCHENDON, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team capped a New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) weekend series with a 4-0 loss against Franklin Pierce University on Saturday at The Winchendon School's Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

THE ACTION
  • Kelley put the Ravens ahead 8:39 into the contest, forcing a giveaway at the blue line before sneaking a shot off of Lavender's glove and inside the post.
  • Schuck doubled the lead at 14:37, whipping a shot home from the bottom of the right circle.
  • Kelley tallied shorthanded 4:23 into the second period, taking a turnover at the far blue line and skating in alone on Lavender.
  • Schuck padded the Raven advantage at 9:46 of the third stanza, tallying from the slot.
