COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College field hockey team lost a Northeast-10 Conference affair to Pace University, 8-2, on Saturday at Duffy Field.

GAME FACTS
  • Already the program record holder with 21 career defensive saves, Fenton also broke the season mark with her 12th on Saturday, snapping a tie with Ashley Webb '07 (2006).
  • Cameron slid into a tie for eighth in program history with 137 saves this fall, matching Jennifer England '93 (1991).
THE ACTION
  • Dietz lent a hand on two early goals for Pace. In the fifth minute, her drive on a corner was tipped in by Fairhurst at the right post. At the nine-minute mark, Tamweber took Dietz's backdoor pass for a tap-in at the right post.
  • Early in the 12th minute, Medeiros' pass up the seam was tipped twice before finding Loughlin, who went in uncontested on Pagliaroli and tallied.
  • Lord leveled the teams in the 34th minute, sending a corner blast off of a defender's stick and under the crossbar for the tying strike.
  • Oschmann put the Setters ahead to stay just 1:50 later, with 35:20 gone, converting after a failed clear.
  • McCrudden scored 1:38 after that, chipping a shot from up close over a diving Cameron.
  • Fairhurst tallied at 51:13 before Dietz had a natural hat trick in a 2:18 span between the 53rd and 55th minutes.
