COLCHESTER, Vt. - The regionally-ranked Saint Michael's College women's soccer team won its school-record 11th game while extending its unbeaten streak to a program-record-tying 10 games with a 3-0 victory over D'Youville University on Tuesday at Duffy Field. The Purple Knights, who were fifth in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region poll, matched a 33-year-old school mark with its current 7-0-3 stretch.

THE ACTION
- Brookes netted her third game-winning goal of the season in the seventh minute. First-year Sarah Gormley (East Moriches, N.Y./Westhampton Beach) set up the sequence by winning a ball on the left sideline and tapping a pass to DelVecchio, who led junior Faith Kosiba (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable Regional) into the left side of the box. From there, Kosiba crossed for the far side, where Brookes tapped home her team-leading seventh goal of the year.
- Kosiba nearly made it 2-0 in the 17th minute, but Pompeo dove to deny her chance.
- In the 23rd minute, Conneely doubled the lead after bodying junior Emilia McGiffert's (Duluth, Minn./Marshall School/Minnesota Duluth) corner kick service across the goal line.
- The Purple Knights iced the win in the 59th minute, when DelVecchio slipped a shot into the lower left part of the net from the top of the box. Junior Kayleigh Crowell (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) assisted.
