Men's Basketball Loses NE10 Decision at Southern New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College men's basketball team lost to Southern New Hampshire University, 95-69, on Tuesday evening during Northeast-10 Conference play in Stan Spirou Field House.

THE ACTION
  • Brzezinski scored his team's first five points before Byrd's three-pointer had the Purple Knights up 10-7 at 14:36 of the opening half.
  • The Penmen scored the next 19 points in a run that took 5:09 to elapse, with Henderson netting seven points.
  • Meeks' free throw had Saint Michael's within 26-13 at 8:29, and the visitors were down 45-31 at halftime following Meeks' basket at the buzzer.
  • Brzezinski's triple 43 seconds into the second half made it 47-34, but Greene (6 points) and Henderson (5) keyed a 14-2 run that put the Penmen up by 25 with 15:06 to go.
