THE ACTION

• Saint Michael's led 9-2 on Crews' three free throws at 16:11 of the opening half before Bridgeport later needed 54 seconds to put together a tying 7-0 run (14-14).
• Saint Michael's forged ahead by tallying a 19-5 stretch, with Duniver canning three threes and Brzezinski adding seven points, as the visitors took a game-high 35-21 advantage with 4:23 to go.
• Bridgeport trimmed its deficit to six points four times early in the second stanza before graduate student Justin Hendrick hit a three to cap a 7-0 run that brought the hosts within 47-46 at 14:50.
• Duniver responded with a trey 36 seconds later, but Bridgeport twice tied the game on Delgado buckets, including when his lay-up at 7:35 made it 57-57.
• Duniver hit two freebies 12 seconds later, and Brzezinski's triple extended the lead to five at 6:53. The visiting Purple Knights still led 67-63 on Crews' trey at 4:21.
• The hosts countered with the next 12 points, keyed by three-point sequences 12 seconds apart by both Traill and Jacobs. Traill's pair of free throws had his team up 75-67 with 1:09 remaining.
