SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team capped a New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) weekend series against Saint Anselm College on Saturday at Cairns Arena with a 11-1 setback on Senior Day. The Purple Knights played their final home game of the season.

THE ACTION
- Leys' shot from inside the blueline just 4:04 into the contest was slowed down by Lalande's glove but trickled across the goal line to give Saint Michael's an early lead.
- Schneiderhan countered 1:24 later, getting behind the defense and one-handing a shot for the tying goal.
- Jackson gave the visitors the lead for good only 42 seconds after that, with 6:10 gone in the opening frame, roofing a shot from the slot.
- Tulchinsky extended the lead to 3-1 12:31 into the second period, tapping home first-year Hailey Tullo's cross-ice pass on a power play.
- Saint Anselm added four goals in a matter of 1:14 later in the frame, including the final three in 36 seconds.
- The visitors tacked on three third-period strikes.
