EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - The eighth-seeded Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team lost to No. 1 Long Island University, 3-2, on Friday during game one of a three-game New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Tournament quarterfinal series in Northwell Health Ice Center.
