HICKORY, N.C. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team lost to Lenoir-Rhyne University, which received votes toward the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Southeast Region poll, on Thursday by a 36-2 count in seven innings at Durham Field.

THE ACTION
- The Bears scored five runs in the first frame and two in the second, with four of those runs being driven in by McPeak. Lenoir-Rhyne scored 12 runs in the bottom of the third inning to extend the lead.
- Gilboy singled in the top half of the fourth to center field to drive in Kolifrath for the first Saint Michael's run. Moynihan scored on a two-out error in the top of the seventh.
