GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team, which received national votes this week, lost to No. 4 Adelphi University, 21-6, on Saturday in Northeast-10 Conference action at Motamed Field. The Purple Knights and Panthers both received their national consideration from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). Saint Michael's is also third in the latest New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) rankings.

THE ACTION
- The Purple Knights nabbed a trio of one-goal leads in the opening quarter-plus, with Simonson (10:26) and Murphy (8:36) both striking in the first quarter before Chirgwin made it 4-3 at 11:30 of the second.
- During a 15:11 stretch between 9:54 of the first and 9:43 of the second, Saint Michael's yielded only a single goal - Tucker's man-up strike at 3:25 of the initial stanza - to the hosts.
- Bauco's man-up marker tied the game at 9:43 of the second period and Donnellan put his team up for good 55 seconds later, all amid a game-ending 18-2 run.
