HOOKSETT, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team was swept in a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader on Saturday by nationally-regarded Southern New Hampshire University, 16-6 and 22-3, at Penmen Field. The Penmen received votes toward this week's American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) national poll.

- Junior Max Kolifrath (Millbury, Mass./Millbury) hit a pair of home runs in the opener, repeating a feat he turned against American International College in game two of their series last April 16. He joins program home run king Trevor Allen '19 (3 times) and Tony Gomes '81 (2) as the lone Purple Knights to hit multiple home runs in multiple games. With eight career dingers - in just two seasons of action - Kolifrath is tied for third in program history.

THE ACTION
- Pisano and Burgos swatted back-to-back solo home runs during a three-run bottom of the first.
- Kolifrath led off the second with a home run before Sevigny brought the Purple Knights within 3-2 on a two-out RBI single.
- Junior Harry Vargas Segura responded with a two-out RBI knock in the home half, but Kolifrath hit another solo home run with two out in the third, and the visitors were down 4-3.
