Kallan Malabad (Blacksburg, Va./Blacksburg) both netted their first career goals in the victory.

GAME FACTS
- Brookes and Gormley are the first Purple Knights to record braces since junior Kayleigh Crowell (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) scored two goals against University of Maine at Fort-Kent in a 4-0 victory last Oct. 13.
- Saint Michael's is now 3-0-1 against Dominican in the all-time series.
- The Purple Knights have won their first three games of the season for the first time since 2008, and won their first three road games in a season for the first time in program history.
THE ACTION
- Gormley scored in the 19th minute after Bell saved her first shot and Gormley put the rebound in the back of the net to give the Purple Knights a 1-0 lead. Anastopoulos set up the breakout opportunity with a long kick over the Charger defense.
- Malabad scored her first career goal in the 31st minute on a free kick by bending her shot around the opposing team's wall into the bottom left corner of the net.
- Brookes tallied her first career goal when Cummings sent a cross from the left side of the field into the box that found Brookes at the back post for the tap in, giving the Purple and Gold a 3-0 lead in the 33rd minute. Peterson also assisted.
- Gormley scored again in the 55th minute after stealing the ball from a Charger defender and taking a shot at the top of the box to put the Purple Knights up 4-0.
- Zeeb scored on a penalty kick in the 56th minute to give the Chargers their first goal of the afternoon.
- Brookes secured her brace in the 70th minute of the match, putting in the rebound of her prior shot in the back of the net with her left foot to give the Purple and Gold a 5-1 lead.
