THE ACTION
- Saint Michael's tallied in the third minute to take the lead for good. Sophomore Jules Peterson (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) sent a left-footed cross into the box for Crowell, who got behind the final defender before tucking a shot under the crossbar at 2:06. Senior Katie Hansen (Spring Hill, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) also assisted.
- The Purple Knights padded their lead in the 70th minute, working a quick counterattack directly off of a Felician corner kick, which Hansen headed out of danger and into the open field. Junior Bridget Hanley (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield) carried through the middle of the field and into the box before dishing for Damori, who worked a give-and-go with sophomore Sarah Gormley (East Moriches, N.Y./Westhampton Beach). Damori struck from the left side of the box to complete the odd-woman rush at 69:21.
