• Benvengo redirected a pass out front 7:13 into the contest to give the Mavericks the lead.
• Nigolian was denied once and sophomore Ellie Newton (Silver Lake, N.H./Kennett) twice in rapid succession in the eighth minute as Kaylise McClure kept her team in front.
• Evans made it 2-0 in the 10th minute, converting a long pass down the seam from junior Kate Lynne Conklin. She scored again in the 20th minute, roofing a backhander immediately following back-to-back Cameron saves.
• Mercy added single goals in the third and fourth quarters.
