• Lavender made 17 saves in a shutout opening period before turning away another 18 shots in the second, keeping the Pioneers off the board until 8:22 was gone, when Cohen scored. Sophomore Hailey Jussila netted a shorthanded insurance strike 4:36 later.
• The hosts scored four times in the third period, including the first two 2:04 apart at 5:57 and 8:01.
