SAINT MICHAEL'S LEADERS OPPONENT LEADERS
  • Senior Milagros Zanatelli, 2 goals

  • Junior Quinlyn Moll, 1 save
GAME FACTS
  • Cameron moved into 10th in NE10 history in career saves (575), passing the University of Massachusetts at Lowell's Patrice Mendoza (559) and Merrimack College's Amy Larrabee (561).
  • Cameron has become the sixth goalkeeper in the history of NCAA field hockey, across all three divisions, to record 400 saves in a season. She extended her Division II record to exactly 400 on Tuesday.
THE ACTION
  • In the eighth minute, Wallace-West had a shot denied by a sprawling Moll before she pounced on her own rebound and found the cage for the go-ahead strike.
  • Cameron maintained the lead by swatting down airborne shots in the 10th and 11th minutes. Behind 10 saves, she helped Saint Michael's carry a 1-0 lead into the half.
  • After Cameron's acrobatic save of Zanatelli's 43rd-minute bid, the rebound hit a Purple Knight field player, providing AIC with a penalty stroke. Zanatelli buried the stroke beyond Cameron's extended stick.
  • The netminder made five saves in the fourth quarter, including stretching with her left pad to toe aside graduate student Anella Rossi's drive in the 57th minute to ensure overtime.
  • In the 7-on-7 extra session, AIC controlled possession and took the lone shot, as Zanatelli slipped behind the final defender and redirected sophomore Victoria Nelson's pass into a vacated cage with 2:25 gone.

  • The Purple Knights celebrate Senior Day that day.
