University, 65-63, on Saturday as part of the Harlem Renaissance Classic at Manhattan University's Draddy Gymnasium. Floyd was named Player of the Game following the win, which sophomore

THE ACTION
- The Purple Knights twice led by five points during the opening 8:06 before sophomore Raph Dumont's (Quebec City, Quebec/Vanier College/Arkansas-Pine Bluff) three-pointer extended the lead to 22-15 at 9:07.
- Morrisey netted eight points in a 15-4 response, and he and Floyd exchanged three-pointers in the final 42 seconds. Bowie State led 35-33 at halftime.
- After the lead changed hands four times in the first 2:06 of the second half, the Bulldogs built three six-point leads before going ahead 56-49 on McGhee's lay-up with 7:49 to go.
- Still down seven with less than six minutes remaining, Saint Michael's finished the game on a 14-5 run. De Leon's triples had his team within 59-56 at 5:07 and 61-59 with 3:55 left before Kenney converted a three-point play at 1:04 that created a 63-62 margin.
- The Bulldogs missed twice on their next possession, and the Purple Knights gained possession with 12 seconds remaining. At two seconds, Floyd put home the go-ahead lay-up and hit his free throw to finish the three-point play. Kenney blocked Bowie State's last-second shot to secure the win.
