GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's volleyball team returned from a two-week layoff with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-17) loss at regional power Adelphi University during Northeast 10 Conference play on Saturday in the Center for Recreation and Sport.

With two regular-season matches remaining, the Purple Knights clinched a spot in the seven-team NE10 Championship due to other action around the league. The second-place Panthers were among 10 teams under consideration for the first NCAA East Region rankings this week.
