RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Saint Michael's College women's volleyball team lost to Felician University, 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-22), on Sunday in Job Gymnasium.

MATCH FACTS
  • The Purple Knights played their first match ever in New Jersey while opposing Felician for the first time since 2016. Each prior meeting had occurred during a tournament.
THE ACTION
  • King's kill had Saint Michael's up 9-8 in the opening set before the lead extended to two on an error, but the Golden Falcons used two kills from sophomore Rowan Jensen to net a go-ahead 4-0 run and take the lead for good. Schulze's kill made it 15-14 before the hosts pulled away with a 6-0 stretch.
  • Felician swung a 9-8 deficit into a five-point lead on the strength of a 6-0 run. Down 22-15 in the late stages, the Purple Knights rallied within 24-23 before sophomore Sandra Galas dropped the clinching kill.
  • In set No. 3, Saint Michael's cut a five-point hole to 23-22, but the final two points went to the hosts.
