SARASOTA, Fla. - Saint Michael's College swimming & diving senior Rafael Kowal (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh/Alfred State), junior Madeline Waldt (Abingdon, Md./The Catholic High School of Baltimore) and sophomore Lucas Haynes (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) competed at the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) College National Open Water Championship on Saturday.
 
MEET NOTES

• Each of the trio met qualifying standards for their 5K races, which took place in Nathan Benderson Park.
• Haynes and Kowal swam at the event for the second straight year.
• The Purple Knights competed alongside student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II and III.
