COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's soccer seniors
Kayleigh Crowell (Beverly, Mass./Beverly),
Bella DelVecchio (Saugus, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) and
Faith Kosiba (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable Regional) were all selected to compete in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl, set for Sunday at East Boston (Mass.) Memorial Park at 11 a.m.
Â
A total of 22 student-athletes from Northeast 10 Conference institutions were selected, as six Purple Knights have been chosen the past three years. The trio keyed the best season in program history, as Saint Michael's finished 16-3-1 overall while advancing to its first NE10 Championship semifinal since 1989.
Â
Crowell, a 2023 NEWISA All-New England first team and NE10 All-Conference third team selection, aided Saint Michael's with two goals and a career-high five assists this fall, finishing her career with 11 goals and nine helpers in 68 contests. Her first goal of the year came in a 1-0 win at Daemen University on Sept. 12, and she added another winner in the third minute of a 2-0 victory over Felician University on Oct. 1. Crowell handed out two assists in a 4-0 win over American International College on Oct. 18 before setting up the winning strike in a 3-0 victory at Dominican University three days later.
Â
An NE10 All-Conference second team pick this fall, DelVecchio posted career highs in assists (7) and points (11) as a captain, and her 16 career helpers tie for fifth in program history. She is tied for fourth in the NE10 in assists this season. DelVecchio owned 63 starts in 68 career games and was the only senior to start every game on an underclass-heavy roster in 2025. She netted the game-winner in the Purple Knights' season-opening victory over Millersville University and handed off two assists in two of the final five games.
Â
Kosiba turned in a career-high seven assists, tying for fourth in the NE10, while also scoring the game-winner at Southern Connecticut State University, as seven of her 13 career tallies went as winners. The captain assisted Crowell's winner at Daemen, assisted a go-ahead goal in a 2-1 win at Franklin Pierce University on Nov. 1, and tied school records for assists (4) and helpers in a half (3) against the University of Maine-Fort Kent on Oct. 15.
