• The Purple Knights edged the Penmen in shots (39-25) and blocked shots (17-15), while Southern New Hampshire held a 45-37 faceoff advantage.
• The Purple and Gold scored one power-play goal and successfully killed three power-play opportunities for the Penmen.

• The Penmen scored the first goal of the game at 9:31 in the first period on Pomposelli's tally on an assist from sophomore Nic Dallaire.
• Schwartz equalized for the Purple Knights at 12:41 with a wrist shot that found the upper left corner of the to make it 1-1. Macdonald and junior Ashton Allain (Brentwood, Tenn./Walpole Express) added assists.
• Lynch scored the only goal of the second period on a 2-on-1 opportunity at 11:23 to give the Penmen a 2-1 lead.
• The Purple Knights scored three unanswered goals in the third period, starting with McFarland's tally at 9:04 on the power play to tie the game at 2-2.
• Tuite scored on a pass to the slot from junior Quinn McCarthy (Melrose, Mass./Holderness School) to give the Purple Knights a 3-2 lead at 12:20.
• Ciancio added one more for the Purple Knights with 1:02 left in the game on a full-length shot for an empty-net goal on an assist from Lincourt.
