• The Purple Knights were trimmed in shots, 25-22, and faceoff wins, 27-25, while holding a 16-10 lead in blocked shots.

THE ACTION

• Korneta put the Ravens ahead 2:45 after the opening faceoff, backhanding home a shot from out front.
• The Purple Knights held a 7-6 shots lead in the first stanza, but the visitors doubled their advantage when a point-blank bid from Maras trickled across the goal line at 11:38.
• Dans made 10 stops in the second frame, when Dean knocked in a rebound after 4:54 for the only scoring, making it 3-0.
• Caumo tallied from the left circle during a power play 4:27 into the third period to complete the scoring.
