COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team lost to defending national champion Adelphi University, 19-4, on Saturday in both teams' Northeast-10 Conference openers on Duffy Field. The Purple Knights were 18th in this week's Inside Lacrosse national rankings and received votes toward the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) poll, while Adelphi was No. 1 in the former and No. 2 in the latter.

- Reyes became the 25th player in program history to record 100 career points, totaling 94 over the last 32 games since the beginning of his sophomore season.
THE ACTION
- Lewis scored the opening goal at 11:15 of the first quarter before Wilson won the ensuing faceoff and tallied just six seconds later.
- Gibson tallied twice to key a 4-0 Adelphi response, but Simonson fed Cahill for a strike at 11:33 of the second period to make it 5-2.
