THE ACTION

• Ferguson doubled home a run in the second inning before Burr's groundout plated Furst.
• Burr doubled in an unearned run in the fourth, and Burr came home on a single to make it 4-0 in the sixth.
• Tetta's two-out RBI single in the seventh scored Arsenault, and Moynihan followed with a single before junior Sam Cavossa (East Falmouth, Mass./The Winchendon School) was plunked to load the bases. However, Frye came out of the bullpen to induce a game-ending groundout.

• Redshirt first-year Bryce Schafer's two-run single keyed a four-run first inning for Kutztown before Kerley's two-run double came amid a three-run second.
• Pattison led off the third inning with a home run, and Kolifrath scored on a two-out error in the fourth to trim the deficit to 8-2.
• Kerley's two-run double capped a three-run fifth inning that padded the Golden Bears' lead.
• Cavossa singled home first-year Zach Jalbert (Westbrook, Maine/Westbrook), who had walked, in the seventh.
