  • Larson and Cavossa led off the Purple Knight half of the inning with consecutive doubles to make it 2-1 before sophomore Colin Kinsella (Winthrop, Mass./Winthrop) knocked a tying sac fly and Kolifrath scored on a wild pitch to cap the three-run frame.
  • Sophomore Bryan McCleary's RBI double tied the game in the fourth, and with two in scoring position and two down, first baseman Kolifrath dove to smother a grounder before tossing to Jones covering at first for the final out.
  • Saint Michael's scored seven runs on five hits and two errors in the home half, scoring two runs directly on miscues and another on a wild pitch. Kolifrath came through with a two-run single, and Tetta added an RBI base hit.
  • First-year Giancarlo Rengifo's two-out RBI single capped a two-run fifth that brought the Panthers within 10-5.
  • The hosts countered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, with Tetta scoring on an error and Kolifrath plating Larson on a sac fly.
  • Larson legged out an RBI infield single in the sixth.
