FLUSHING, N.Y. - The regionally-ranked Saint Michael's College men's tennis team lost to No. 41 Queens (N.Y.) College, 7-0, on Friday at the Queens Tennis Bubble. Both teams were listed in the NCAA's first six-team East Region rankings, while the Knights are 41st in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national poll.

- Queens took the opening doubles point thanks to wins at No. 2 and 3, despite a close 6-4 loss in the final spot from first-years Brayden Effler (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) and Jamie Macpherson (Durham, United Kingdom/Framwellgate School Durham).
- Barroso and Du Plessis claimed a 6-4 victory in the top spot, improving to 6-3 this school year.
- The homestanding Knights picked up straight-set victories in the first four singles positions to clinch the team win. Barroso won six games at No. 1 against the seventh-ranked singles player in the East and first-year Benji Hegedus-Kyster (Budapest, Hungary/British International School Budapest) claimed four in the second position.
- Junior Simon Lundholm (Le Luc, France/CNED) fell by a 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 score at No. 6 before Macpherson lost by a 5-7, 6-2, 10-5 count in the fifth position.
