COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team lost to No. 5 Saint Anselm College, 15-8, on Wednesday evening during Northeast-10 Conference play at Duffy Field. The Purple Knights received a vote toward this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national poll, while the Hawks' ranking was according to the USILA poll.

THE ACTION
- Simonson bookended a pair of Saint Anselm goals with strikes of his own, and the teams were tied 2-2 at 7:13 of the opening quarter.
- Junior Chris Claflin's man-up marker at 4:25 ignited a 6-0 run, and the Hawks eventually led 12-3 by 11:27 of the third quarter. Frawley scored for the Purple Knights in the extended 12-1 run.
- Murphy, Drake and Fremault all found the net as Saint Michael's tallied three of the next four goals, trimming the deficit to 13-6 by 11:49 of the final period, but the hosts came no closer
