A veteran team returns its regular top six from last fall, as well as the seven women who occupied the Purple Knights' scoring positions at the NE10 Championship and NCAA East Regional Championship ... Saint Michael's was fifth at NE10s after taking third in 2023, registering back-to-back top-five performances for the first time since 2013 and 2014 ... its 10th-place finish at regionals came on the heels of a sixth-place showing in 2023; the Purple and Gold last had consecutive top-10 performances at regionals between 2012 and 2014 ... junior Fran Peterson (Barron, Wis./Barron) landed on the NE10 All-Conference first team and earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East Regional All-Region honors the past two seasons ... sophomore Jersey Miller (Minneapolis, Minn./Saint Louis Park) became the second Purple Knight in as many years to earn NE10 Rookie of the Year honors while joining Peterson on the all-league first team and as all-region ... junior Kennedy Holsapple (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme) was all-conference as a first-year and came within two spots of duplicating the feat last fall ... women who combined for 26 top-25 finishes are back.
