  • The Purple and Gold tied a school record with seven assists, previously reached against Windham College on Oct. 30, 1963.
  • The Purple Knights evened the all-time series at 1-1-2.
THE ACTION
  • The Purple Knights went ahead in the 12th minute on Andrews' header out front from Butler's cross from the right flank. Schwalbe-Goodwin added the secondary helper.
  • In the 16th minute, Smith stretched to make a leaping save of a shot ticketed for the upper right corner by first-year Keegan Herrmann to keep his team in front.
  • Lopez doubled the lead during the 44th minute, one-touching home senior Mikel Penin's (Bergara, Basque Country/Ipintza Institutua/Spring Hill) cross from the left end line after Miralles sprung Penin with a through ball.
  • Miralles found shooting space in the 49th minute to pick the upper right corner, and junior Evan Richardson's (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) centering touch from the right post was tapped in by Andrews in the 52nd minute. Schwalbe-Goodwin again assisted.
  • The Purple Knights added three goals in a 10:44 stretch during the late stages. Senior Ryan Noci's (Peabody, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) long serve was touched over the keeper by Qirjazi at 72:09, Blay blasted a shot from the top of the box beyond a diving Delaney for his first college goal with 80:08 gone, and Manley tallied from the middle of the box directly off of a Daemen player passing the ball from first-year Anthony Napoletano's (Newington, Conn./Newington) feet at 82:53.
  • In the meantime, Uecker maintained the shutout by batting away first-year Thomas Wikan's point-blank drive from the right side of the box in the 82nd minute.
