COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College field hockey senior goalkeeper
Joelle Cameron (West Bridgewater, Mass./West Bridgewater) set an NCAA Division II record with 48 saves on Wednesday against defending national champion Saint Anselm College during an 8-0 loss at Duffy Field. Cameron had matched the prior national mark with 45 stops just 10 days prior against 2024 national runner-up Kutztown University.

THE ACTION
- Cameron made 13 saves while keeping Saint Anselm off the board for the opening 10:36 before junior Laurentien van den Akker finally broke through midway through the 11th minute, blasting home a shot during a corner sequence. Shorey's putback at 12:46 doubled the lead.
- Cameron stopped the first nine shots sent her way in the second quarter before the Hawks tallied in the 27th minute and once more with no time remaining, with the latter kicking off a flurry of four goals in 8:20.
